Timing just not right, so the repair was a great temporary solution. Competitor just gave the “buy new” option. This system is on its last breath but may have gotten one last season out of this unit. Price was high to me, but to be honest I have not paid for an A/C repair in over 10 years: $2,700 to quickly diagnose, install Freon stop leak, and recharge, then retest pressures.
